Caring for your Jewelry

Please remove your jewelry when showering or swimming, sleeping, exercising, applying make-up & cosmetics, perfume, oils & moisturisers to avoid tarnishing of silver or gold-plated chains or bracelets.

Gold Plated Chains

Gold plated chains indicate a thin layer of solid gold plated over a base of 925 sterling silver. This piece does not contain nickel. Over time the chain may have a reaction with one's skin acidity & oils, which may result in your chain fading or oxidising to a darker color. Your crystal pendant will be unaffected for they are made  out of solid 18k gold. You can always reach out to us to get a discount for ordering a new gold-plated chain.

18k Gold and Silver

Our 18k gold and 925 sterling silver based pieces are nickel-free, & are hand-crafted. Our 18k gold and 925 sterling silver based pieces are hard-wearing & will last basically forever if taken care of.

Combining Jewelry

If you choose to combine jewelry and necklaces make sure they don’t touch or hit each other. Note that crystals or metals rubbing against each other can scratch it, reduce its beauty or even damage the crystal. If this is the case Crystal Clear Vision  is not responsible for returning or exchanging pieces.

Storing your pieces

Our jewelry is carefully packaged in our signature Crystal Clear Vision boxes, perfect for storing your pieces when travelling or gifting to a loved one. For daily storage, make sure your jewelry isn’t rubbing against your other pieces or against its own chain to avoid scratches of the metals or the aura of your crystals.

Cleaning Your Jewelry

We recommend holding your jewelry under warm water and gently brushing it with an old toothbrush or something similar. You can also use some mild soap to enhance cleaning. If you have a jewelry cleaning cloth you can use it for your Silver and 18k Gold Jewelry. Do not rub gold plated chains with a jewelry cleaning cloth as this could damage your item
